Destination Covered: Kathmandu Pokhara Muktinath Jomsom Kagbeni
Duration: 8 Days / 7 Nights
The Sacred Trails of Nepal is a meticulously crafted 7-day odyssey designed for those who seek more than just a vacation. It is a journey for the soul, blending the profound spirituality of ancient Vedic traditions with the raw, untamed beauty of the world’s highest mountain ranges. With North East Horizon Tours and Treks, you don't just visit Nepal—you experience its heartbeat.
Your journey begins in the "City of Temples," Kathmandu. Here, the air is thick with the scent of incense and the sound of temple bells. From the sacred cremation ghats of Pashupatinath to the watchful eyes of the Boudhanath Stupa, you will witness a living history where faith is woven into every brick and stone. Before leaving the valley, we seek the blessings of the Goddess Manakamana, ascending by cable car to a ridge where sky and spirit meet.
In the serene valley of Pokhara, the majestic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peak reflects perfectly in the emerald waters of Phewa Lake. This is your moment of tranquility before the ultimate ascent. As we move toward the high-altitude desert of Mustang, the landscape transforms into a rugged, windswept paradise.
The pinnacle of your pilgrimage is Muktinath (Chumig Gyatsa). Located at an altitude of 3,710 meters, this is one of the few places on Earth where all five elements—earth, air, sky, fire, and water—are said to coexist in their purest form. Whether you are performing the ritual of the 108 water sprouts or meditating before the eternal flame, the sense of "Mukti" (salvation) is palpable. The towering Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri massifs stand as silent witnesses to your devotion.
The journey concludes with a panoramic farewell at Swayambhunath, the legendary Monkey Temple. As you look out over the sprawling Kathmandu Valley one last time, you will realize that you are returning home not just with photographs, but with a renewed sense of peace and a faith as unshakeable as the mountains themselves.
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. After freshening up, begin your spiritual journey:
